Our first home show!
This past weekend, New Horizon Exterior Cleaning made its debut at the Regina Spring Home Show — and we couldn't be more fired up about how it went..
Walking into our first trade show as an exhibitor was a new experience entirely. We set up our booth, got everything dialed in, and then it was game time. What followed was a full weekend of great conversations, genuine connections, and more energy than we expected. Regina homeowners showed up, and so did we.
The goal was simple: meet people, talk about what we do, and show the community what New Horizon is all about. We can confidently say we did exactly that. Whether people were curious about window cleaning, house washing, pressure washing, or gutter cleaning — we had the conversations and left every one of those interactions feeling good about the work we're doing and the direction this company is heading.
We ran two giveaways at the booth. The first was a draw for a $350 New Horizon gift card — a chance to win a full season's worth of exterior cleaning on us. The second was something a little more interactive. Our "Stop the Clock" challenge had people watching a timer count up and trying to stop it at exactly 10 seconds — no counting out loud, no cheating. Just feel and instinct. It brought out the competitive side of everyone who stepped up to the booth and kept people coming back to try again. The crowd around the booth during those moments? That's what trade shows are made of.

Beyond the giveaways and the challenge, the real win was the people. Homeowners, neighbors, other local business owners — everyone we spoke with was genuinely warm and engaged. We met a lot of great folks this weekend, and we're grateful for every conversation we had at that booth.
For a company that started small and has been building year over year, a weekend like this one is a reminder of why we do it. We're not just cleaning homes — we're becoming a real part of the Regina community. This home show was a milestone for New Horizon, and we're already looking forward to the next one.
